Look, I barely remember the story, but it seems to me these people were in the country illegally and I guess they were deported. So, that's how the law works, isn't it?
Again, they executed it rather poorly. The issue with visas should have been resolved via back channel diplomacy, not in front of the cameras.

Of course you barely remember the story because your right-wing media sources, including Twitter, downplayed it.
