86 degrees, 60 meters down...

As of October 20, water in excess of 30°C extended 60 meters below Tropical Storm Melissa. A slow-moving storm will upwell water (bring deeper water up to the surface) because its winds are actively pushing surface water away, but these Argo float observations show that deeper water is also warm!
