Ocean constructions are not restricted to windmills. Any construction anywhere is going to affect the environment. So are you arguing we should stop building anything? Particularly anything with glass windows, a know hazard for birds.

Ecosystems will form around them, they are hard surfaces in an environment that tends to lack them. Just like they do on oil rigs. Which are prime fishing spots because the sessile organisms that colonize them attract other, more mobile ones. Which is why they construct artificial reefs out of concrete blocks, sunken ships, cars, tires and other things.

That article cites boat traffic due to the windmills as a hazard. And boats certainly are a hazard to whales and other organisms. But boats are not uniquely associated with windmills. It is something that needs to be taken into account when siting them.

Now the sounds are and should be a concern. Measures can be taken to moderate that. As they should be for other sources. Again, it isn't a problem unique to windmills.

If windmills were the only things causing these problems, you'd have a point. But all you have done is bring up things that already are problems with other things we do. They aren't unique. Yes, greater care should be taken with these issues. If those things concern you, you probably need to widen the circle a whole lot.
