Rebuilding strategic metals reserves makes sense, most of which we've let lapse this century. Yes agree totally. Have thot about this a bit, nor sure why it has happened. WWII was not really all that long ago. Back then we apparently imported very little. At the start of the war we couldn't, we did not control the seas.

The cycles master says that Wheat exhibits an 18/9/4.5 yr cycle pattern. So I put an arbitrary 4.5 yr pattern here, possible bottom dead ahead. No position.
Looks to me like much further down the road, bread gonna get pricey. We're steadily being told that the price of food stuffs is coming down. What with a big energy bottom being made, I don't believe that. Appears more to me like a LT commodities boom is in the early stages.
