Can not force the conversion but they would be traded in the OTC market and thinly traded at that. You definitely do not want to convert but rather wait until they refinance the debt over $33 million which they can do lower than the 8% if/when they pay these off at PAR. My thinking is the Private Equity group knew this and slowly accumulated a lot of these preferreds. I will have to check the Buys if they have to be disclosed for 1% buyers. There appears to be higher than normal vol August, Sept & Oct in the SOHOB preferred going back to Feb 2024. No Panic here, just holding and collecting my dividend next week
