| | | Pocotrader, I remember visiting Versailles the first time I visited Paris. What a gorgeous display of opulence. Room after room of murals, classy furniture, and just plain decadence. I can see why Marie Antoinette had the time of her life, at least until she lost her head over it.
What struck me, however, wasn't just the styling, but rather the sheer square footage. Versailles was HUGE. Like it's impossible to think of that place as a residence for even a single extended family.
In comparison, Trump's dumbass ballroom will seem rather small, but the resemblance in styling will still be unmistakable. It'll be gaudy, completely useless, and nothing more than a vanity project.
And yet 40% of the American population STILL thinks this ballroom will lower grocery prices, bring manufacturing jobs to America, and raise our standing in the world. "If we just stroke Trump's ego, he will deliver everything he promised ..."
