To be clear, the Democrats aren't angels. But they have far fewer authoritarian and/or violent impulses.
It's not for lack of trying, you have to admit.

This is a major reason why MAGA loves the whataboutism. They can always point to some Democrat who advocated for authoritarianism, corruption, and/or violent revolt.

This also proves just how utterly cynical MAGA is. They don't want to uphold the ideals of a constitutional republic because they never believed they lived in one. They were so convinced that Biden had already plunged this nation into some Soviet-style autocracy that they were willing to vote for an unapologetic autocrat of their own.

By the way, I'll never forget how Bill claimed it was impossible for Trump to get a fair trial in NYC. He even tried to create an analogy for me, but it only revealed just how little faith he had in our judicial system: Message 34667490
But I guarantee you wouldn't like to be tried by a jury of people from Ithaca College who hate Asian engineers from Cornell.
The system is all rigged, according to guys like him. Therefore, they have no choice but to rig it back in their favor.

They're so full of hate, it's incredible.
