That is not what Reagan was doing as the WSJ pointed out if you read the article. That is throwing shit at the wall hoping to hit something-lol! Reagan said tariffs are basically very fucking bad! They are only to be used for a short time in specific situations, like you list. Trump put them on every nation on earth, and said it was because nations had to "pay to play"--trade with the US costs a minimum of 10%--but only if you are very good and obey me!!!!! Otherwise it may be 150%!!! Get it!
