Just imagine if a slow-moving hurricane of this size and intensity manged to hit Miami. The island of Miami Beach in particular would be in deep trouble with a 6-metre storm surge. It would be nothing but buildings sticking up out of the ocean, at least as long as the buildings remained standing.
