    • Climate control/Air conditioning

    • Speedometers and other dashboard displays

    • Switches and power windows

  • The Cause: The disruption stems from geopolitical tensions and regulatory action:

    • The Dutch government took control of Nexperia, citing corporate governance issues and concerns over technology transfer.

    • In response, China blocked the export of Nexperia's finished products from its facilities in China, where a large portion of the chips are packaged and prepared for distribution.
