PBS Sunday night - "Maigret" the prequel version is well done for a cop show, but it has less than nothing to do with real French life or society. They should have used the same actors, put it in a UK county, and built a new identity from there. Stealing a known name like this is cheesy at best. "Gold" has become very engrossing, based on a real story about a massive bullion heist and the hunt to track down the criminals and the gold afterward. It's nice to see Hugh Bonneville in a role where he's not actually a bumbler (cue Downton Abbey fans).
