The irony of Trump's useless trade wars with China is that he is throwing a lifeline to Xi Jinping. China looks oh-so-stable from the outside world, but internally their economy is brittle. Reverse demographics, companies that are moving production out of China, and that saber-rattling thingy are all creating unnecessary risks within the Xi regime.

Yet here comes Trump who, like a dumbass, is Making China Great Again. All thanks to him pissing off our trading partners while helping China's partners (e.g. Argentina).

In light of this, Xi knows how to deal with Trump: "Never interrupt your opponent when he is making a mistake."

And Trump is making one mistake after another.
