I notice several packaging/paperboard companies dropping to new lows. This does not bode well for the economy, imo. If there's less packaging business anticipated, there's less product anticipated to bought/sold/shipped.

Fwiw, I'll start a small tracking position in high risk SON (Sonoco Products), recently at its 12-mo low. Profitable (diluted eps) in 14 of past 15 years, dividend raised every year past 15, and yield is over 5%. Ltd has been increasing though. P/sales at a ten year low. Two insiders stepped up for buys a few days ago.
