Musk made a mess of Twitter is he doing the same with Tesla
Not really. Two different things.

Tesla will always and forever be the electric car company.

Not a robotics company.

Not an AI company.

If Musk really wants to go into robotics and AI, he should simply create a whole new company instead of rebranding Tesla.

Of course, he's doing it because the Tesla brand name is already in trouble. The EV market is seeing a lot of competition, Cybertruck was a big bust, and Tesla has no other new models to announce. Sales are down, revenue is down, and thanks to the end of EV and carbon subsidies, profitability is at risk.
