I'm not going to buy an appeal to authority without an actual argument that addresses the core of the issue. If they don't have one, then they're just some smart guy w/ a title and a strong opinion. They might just believe what they believe because they think someone else that they think is bigger is an authority on the matter and to leave it at that. In this case, all roads reach Tim Cook whose clout is enormous but whose actual argument doesn't stand up to scrutiny.
