FBI Forces Out Senior Official After Kash Patel Rages Over Attention To His Jet Use A senior official with the FBI that oversees aviation within the agency was pushed out after FBI Director Kash Patel became upset about the release of publicly-available jet logs showing Patel flying to see his girlfriend, Bloomberg Law reports. The exit of Steven Palmer, a 27-year veteran of the FBI, became official on Friday, the report said. Palmer was the head of the bureau's crisis management operations. FBI jet logs reportedly showed Patel had flown to see his girlfriend, right-wing musician Alexis Wilkins, perform at Penn State University.
