Democrats need to establish what we're about, not just that we're not MAGA. We know we can't get democratic legislation passed, but we need to tell the people what we'd like it to be.
I'm all for green legislation, but we need to explain to the American people why. Climate change is real, we need the people to realize that much of it is caused by man, and man may be able to slow it, but turning it around will probably be a different matter. Meanwhile, there is a reason for moving to solar power, electric cars, etc. We need to get away from all sorts of forms of pollution and start realizing that our planet isn't a massive trash can that accepts everything we put into it. It requires International cooperation, but with Trump we're going the other way, we need to convince the American people that it's wrong.
Frankly AI is going to lower our needs for labor, we ought to realize it and look at how it can integrate into how people are to be employed in the future. I believe a work week of 35 or 32 hours will be a start, but people must be paid essentially what they make now, or more, in order to live and handle there greater leisure time.
Greed and the disparity between the wealthiest, and the rest of us should be addressed, greater support is needed from the lower end of the upper class down to the poorest, it's the upper end of the upper class that's totally separated from the rest of us. It all needs to be addressed.
