MongoDB surges as it announces leadership change reaffirms guidance

MongoDB ( MDB) shares surged 9% in premarket trading on Monday after it announced that former ServiceNow ( NOW) executive CJ Desai will replace Dev Ittycheria as President and CEO. The enterprise software company expects its upcoming third-quarter results to surpass what it previously forecast.

In conjunction with the management shakeup, MongoDB said it expects “to exceed” the high end of its revenue, adjusted income from operations and adjusted earnings per share guidance for the third-quarter of 2026, aided by its Atlas platform. MongoDB will report third-quarter results on Dec. 1.
