I think the components in low cost phones can be made with older equipment that is fully depreciated from building what was state-of-the-art a few years ago.

My understanding is older line widths are sold out. There's no new capacity, and the demand for older stuff has increased.

Memory makers are saying 2026 production is "sold out". I don't really know what that means, but it sounds like no you can't increase your allocation for 2026 now. Nope. Sold out....
