When REFR hit 2.70, every shorted shares done for the prior 2 years was under water. Every long share purchased during the same period had at least a small gain, but most had a huge gain.

The fact that Pocci aka "chicken little" was working so hard to tell large shareholders he was up and they were down smacks of desperation.

New money coming in will supplant the existing holders, the longer they've held the more shares they'll sell. But it won't save the hedge fund and they know it. Looks like next testing price will be around 1.85ish. Expect they'd want the stock be lower to offset any good news on the CC or from Glass Build.

New money won't buy on low volume, shorts have an advantage there. But news and increase in daily volume will give us another record-setting day.

They're toast either way because institutional buyers the likes of Neal Goldwyn have been following stock for number of years now and got out likely at higher prices. The institutions are doing the large buying. Hedge fund couldn't short a lot more on the run up. Heck Chicken Little was shouting "Short at 1.62" then "short at 1.79" Oh yeah he said in his 1.79 post how much "fun" he would have. Then we hit 2.70 intraday and he announced Short at 2.40 and 2.60.

I'm telling you they are out of bullets. They need to shake the price down for survival and balance out its short position with its long position. How many shares will they dump in the next 3 days, your guess is as good as mine. I do know it can't afford to dump to much or to buy too much.

Same game, different year and very different circumstances.
