It's not as hard as you may think.

Filter by some fundamental factors so that you are not chasing insanity. Fundamentals don't always have to be limited to earnings. They could mean having a pipeline of drugs in development or belonging to particular industry and so on.

After you have that, filter for liquidity, volatility, and market cap.

This should give you at least 100 stocks. Place a $1000 bet on each.

Then just follow the trend and momentum. Sell the losers and add to the winners. In the earnings season, be ready to move fast and don't fall in love with any stock.

Rinse and repeat.
