I'm using a HELOC to supplement my income, not to reduce it but it works the same way. You are basically borrowing against the equity of your house and you pay interest on the loan. NOTE: I have a short term life event that requires me to utilize my HELOC. I am not one of the billionaires gaming the system. lol
