How can a company be stupid enough to lack such elementary internal controls which will allow them to know the status of their inventory at ANY given point in time???? Get real, fellas. This involves elementary inventory and cost control management which they teach you in business 101. That's what troubles me about this situation. Last quarter they grossly misguided investors and the street on earnings. This quarter a massive inventory shortfall suddenly shows up. How can one have confidence in management that makes mistakes like that?
