GAAP earnings is going backwards. It's now at $5, a level last anticipated when the stock was trading in $40 - $80 range and cdma smartphone sales were being anticipated.. So what GAAP item costs us over $7B this time around? Oh, I see it's an alternative minimum tax. Didn't know you folks had those items. They've become very popular of late in all sorts of jurisdictions. So how does such a non cash item apply to today and tomorrow's earnings outlook. Does it mean it's already been paid?
