There have been no Flex Alerts in California since 2022 caiso.com but storage, solar and VPP's have filed that gap in the last couple years.

Well over 10,000 Tesla Powerwalls and owners of other storage devices at commercial and residential properties have made a lot of $$ the last few years mostly in the summertime.

Not to mention over 16 GWh of large scale grid storage in the state that charge and discharge every day.

Fire and wind outages are a different issue as you know.
