What would Jesus say if I cheated on my taxes and donated the proceeds directly to a food bank?
That's not a good thing. Even if you ended up helping the poor, it wasn't done in good faith.

Render under Caesar that which is Caesar's, and to God that which is God's.

You're supposed to help the food bank with your money, not the money that belongs to "Caesar."
