QCOM- 11/05/ 25 close of earnings day trading
My observation from the NAZ chart above. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Looking at the NAZ chart, volume had a large spike w/ ~5M shares traded at 4:00 closing with the close dropping to ~ $174vs Schwab’s reported close at $179.72. The volume was in 100K-500k’s in the few minutes before and after. After that, after hours volume remained in the 10k range with the SP fluctuating between ~175 to 172.
Funny, per NAZ, the $5 drop occurred right at the close, not after as reported by Schwab with ~5M shares doing the trick.

| Interpretation
- Closing Strength: QCOM closed near session highs, signaling strong institutional support and confidence in execution.
- After-Hours Dip: The drop to $173.95 reflects short-term skepticism — not about Q4 results, but about AI monetization timelines, muted handset growth, and valuation rotation.
- Volume Behavior: The final minute likely saw 1.2M+ shares traded, consistent with closing auction norms. After-hours volume (~6% of regular) was enough to move price but not indicative of broad selloff.
Strategic Overlay
- Investor Tone: “Great quarter, but show me the AI revenue.”
