Over the last while we have gotten a lot of noise about Qualcomm customers building their own chips. It's been in all sorts of places (products and geographies). Not just phones but cars too.

I see that as ARM and Masa Son pushing their way into Qualcomm's realm. Almost all of it is "coming soon". How much will arrive and it's value beyond being a great introductory deal is debatable. What's clear is it has yet to seriously impact Qualcomm's financial numbers.

Apple is just one of many and what is clear is that all are being empowered by Masa Son via Haas.

Fair competition makes one a stronger fighter. Qualcomm can always improve on that front.

We shall see.
