I have listened to many conference calls from other companies.
I have never seen what Joe does.
Any question he can't answer, or doesn't want to answer, he says he will address that in his closing remarks.
What's the sense in having a live earnings call of you can't answer the question right on the spot. If he answered right away, this would give the analyst or whoever is asking the question a chance for a follow up question. He clearly does not want that, for some reason.
Joe needs to man up and take live questions right there and then. He needs to be transparent. I have never seen any other CEO do this.
The way he does this it looks like he's hiding something, and people get suspicious.
