Index Update November 6 2025

SP500 initiated a short sell signal setup. It looks like the selling in the MAG7 broadening. A confirmation day tomorrow will probably lead to more selling. A 5 percent pullback would be normal and not a sign of panic yet, but given the valuations it is still important to have trailing stops in place. No panic yet, but when it happens it will happen fast.



DOW also initiating a sell signal setup.



DOW on a short and intermediate sell signal setup. Being in a consolidation pattern the last few weeks it is less significant.



DOW utilities still on short term sell signal and stopping just short of intermediate sell signal setup.



TLT still on short term sell signal, but the intermediate sell signal setup has been negated for now. Long bond rates trying to find a new equilibrium point.



USD failing first test of 1.00 parity level. To be expected. What happens next is more important.



COMPQ short term sell signal setup initiated.



Russell 2000 short term sell signal confirmed. Intermediate sell signal setup initiated. A confirmation of the intermediate sell signal means a major sentiment change to risk off.



Financials still on short and intermediate sell signals. Major support level holding for now. So risk to the economy being reflected.



Energy still waiting.



Gold still on a short term sell signal and consolidating. Safety and de-dollarization trade not over yet.



Consumer discretionary short and intermediate sell signal setup initiated.
