Chowder: I have been buying baby bonds, mostly from utilities. DTB, DUKB, SOJF, SREA and AFGE, all paying around 6%. I also treat BIP.PRA, a preferred, as a trade, Buy when around $17 sell around $20, collect $1.28 per year in between. Most of these are issued by BBB+ rated companies. Bill
