About long term prospects:

Those who have been long IO for a while probably see the company in about the same way: innovative, paradigm-busting products, "take no prisoners" marketing - and a better than even chance of capturing a huge market.

I think we also see a company patiently laying the foundation for future growth: delaying immediate gratification (i.e. increases in quarter-to-quarter earnings) to create the foundation for even greater growth and market share (OEM and channel relationships, new manufacturing plants, more research, the IOMEGA tour with Kodak). Just the stuff that business schools recommend.

I know that all this investment will eventually pay off and be reflected in the stock price, and I'm prepared to wait for the harvest. Disappointing 3rd quarter? A blip in inventory? Who cares.
Buy value and hold.

Trying to play market fluctuations is a suckers game.
