Paulo,
I don't want to be the ultimate optimist in this. However, enterprise and investing are both based on realistic and reasonable optimism.
Todays the company gave terrible news. However, if they did not know how to keep the inventory under control, we hope they learned it now.
This either makes them go bankrupt or not. If they are not going bankrupt, then they should improve their business management. (but I don't know, and probably none of us does if they will go under, although it seems unlikely).
With better decisions, better results will come and the stock price will likewise respond. However if and when the company recovers its business standing, the stock recovery may lag the business recovery by several mos at least, since the street will want to see several steady quarters of good growth before singing to ACTM again.
So look at this at a long, long term story if you want to hold, or take a loss at some point.
One question to you: is there any risk of major business destroyment?
thanks,
Alfredo
