In a true risk based analysis - it seems fairly certain that an extension will be worked out - AAPL cannot afford a blow up and their modem is not just slightly worse -

That puts QCOM in the drivers seat for this -

If I am AAPL - I want to extend the modem deal... extend the license and get an option to embed in the A chips

If I am QCOM - I want an end to the never ending cycle of BS caused by AAPL -

I also completely understand the nature of tell AAPL to shove it - but - the real value here is getting a very good long term peace
