My wife found out tonight one of the girls she is protecting has a couple of hits out on her and possibly another out on her sister, who is 1-year younger than her. They are high school age. Everyone this girl knows is either dead or in hiding. I think they'll both eventually end up in witness protection and start a new life. Her dad used to run the town she's from, and he's been in hiding for years. Anyway, my wife got a bit upset when I asked her if she would take a bullet for this girl. However, I think it was just a super, stressful day at the office. Mega stressful. She would take a bullet for her, although maybe she'd arrange for a vest before she takes that bullet.
