I have my doubts about poisoning. The Israeli regime knows how to administer a lethal dose, without anyone suspecting. And the trip to the hospital would have been unavoidably delayed. If offing her was the intent, heads will roll. Her life has been a living hell lately, and she's likely severely stressed out. She will be recovered for further misery.

OTOH

....After all, that is what ultimately brought former Military Advocate General Maj.-Gen. Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi to the pitiful situation she is now in. The system's hesitancy, the unwillingness to break ranks. She could have held a press conference to present the video and say, "Here is one piece of evidence that we have. It happened and my job is to ensure that soldiers and commanders in the army will not commit war crimes."

She should have said at that time that the truth is indeed hard, but the soldiers beat a prisoner, broke his ribs, perforated his lungs, damaged his intestines and injured his anus. In a sane country, such individuals stand trial and don't get defended by members of Knesset and government ministers.

But Tomer-Yerushalmi reached this point in a state of shock over the orchestrated frenzy around her. She saw what the poison machine could ...... [not necessarily the alleged poison, but maybe an omen]
