Russia was not engaged in any open, large scale warfare during Trump's First term. I believe you are referring to the annexation under Obama in 2014 and the ensuing Donbas war.

Around 14,000 were killed, mostly in 2024-15, although maybe a couple thousand were killed in Trumps' first term. Trump handled it perfectly by butting out. Nothing to do with us.

Trump had essentially no role in that war which didnt involve USA. Trump doesn’t go around picking fights. If Trump starts killing people it is because they had it coming. (See drug smuggling boats, recently).
