Index Update November 7 2025 SP500 crossed 50 day SMA but managed to finish well up on the day from that level. OBV is pressing on setting up a ew 52 week high suggest there are still a lot of dip buyers. SP500 is still on a short term sell signal so the index is not out of the woods yet. DOW weaker that SP500. It did not cross the 50 day SMA intra-day but it also is not showing continued dip buying on the OBV. DOW transportation still waiting. DOW utilities crossed the 50 day SMA intraday but bounced hard. AI data story bruised but not broken yet??? TLT indicating traders are back on the lower long bond rate story but not true believers yet. USD still failing to break above and hold par. It looks like there is demand for us assets still. COMPQ also bouncing from 50 day SMA. Net selling short term though so some crack in the story. Semis following COMPQ though marginally stronger. Russell 2000 avoiding intermediate sell signal for now. Short term sell signal confirmed. Financials about to negate short term sell signal. Intermediate sell signal still in place. Consumer discretionary not confirming short and intermediate sell signal but not negative it either. Market being driven by macros issues. No strong sell or buy signal and not market rotation. xxxxxxxxxxxxx
