The most likely "problem" is the collision hazard. Satellites such as GSTRF can maneuver small amounts to avoid collision. It's just that the problem will grow with the introduction of these LEO and MEO constellations. There are already requirements for future satellites to have end of life deorbit capability. To claim "national security" threats is too strong, in my opinion, since most of the problems come from micrometeoroids and debris particles too small to be tracked and cataloged.
