Hi Dan- I am a novice in understanding the 'networking' world and would like to get a better feel of market for the products and the 'jargon'. I am attracted to the financials of MRVC and would like to understand more about the market they are selling to and the products they sell. Fast and Gigabit Ethernet along with ATM and LAN/WAN seem to leave me in the dust. Could you point me in a direction where I could get a better knowledge of the field? I can understand why a product that increases speed of connection to the web would be valuable though I don't need to know how to build it or how it works. A "20km Gig Ether" sounds great to me yet don't see why buyers would rush to own it other that faster spped for what they do.... Thanks.. Ed...
