Some basics on LTI, AIT, spd glazing for arch, retrofit windows....Joe explaining some of this on conf call would have been ideal, not hammering him for not but it would have been good if he did...

LTI Smartglass facility is in Pittsfield MA
AIT out of Largo FL (I am not including pics and details of this facility because LTI smartglass is more pertinent to SPD)
LTI Smartglass has been laminating/glazing/making pdlc glass that Gauzy has been selling for pdlc contracts, offices, showers and perhaps large scale jobs like the cruise terminal (i do not know for certain)....I am guessing spd was not even available for sale on small jobs like pdlc through Gauzy (not sure) or if it was/is it is done on very small scale at a premium....They will now manufacturing the SPD retrofit in Pittsfield MA (pretty certain) and hope they offer standard spd window glazing if it has not been available other then high priced one offs here and there....Notice Joe never mentions small scale SPD jobs, I am guessing because not available unless a big premium by a tiny glazer, hopefully, if the case, this changes and LTI Smartglass goes forward more so with SPD glazing in general not just retrofits, but retrofit may be the large driver.
Gauzy makes film......a huge key is glass makers/window makers...In autos SPD has that in place, arch is different on the manufacturing supply chain
