The state, of course, which means “employment” becomes an instrument of control.

This is the perfect inversion of liberty: pretending to “empower” mothers while binding them economically to government approval.

Real support isn’t when the state pays you to stay home, it’s when you’re free enough to choose your own path without the state deciding your worth.
