Musk’s “weaponized empathy” comment was clumsy but not entirely wrong, it’s a critique of emotional coercion being used to justify bad policy.
Right, but Musk went too far by claiming it's a "fundamental weakness of Western civilization."

This isn't just a mere slip-up of the tongue, mind you. The Muskperger wouldn't say that unless, deep down in his black heart, he truly believes that empathy is a civilizational vice instead of a human virtue.

Personally I have no problem with him being a heartless bastard. If he doesn't want to share his wealth, we have no right to force him to.

I only have a problem, however, with those who think Phony Stark is some of visionary. He's not. He's just a flawed man, just like the Zefram Cochrane character that was portrayed by James Cromwell in Star Trek: First Contact.
