Hi Bob....

Thanks for the good information....

I won't try and predict the price of oil, whether the price eventually increases or decreases due to supply/demand imbalances or due to geopolitical events/wars, the POO is going set the POO.

If we are entering a system of National Capitalism, will governments will create additional supply and to some extent additional demand?

Are we ever going refill the SPR...???

>>>These non-operated E&P have utilized some excellent accounting practices that allow oil depletion and high cash flow that gets distributed to the shareholders at a tax rate that is at a qualified dividend rate, often lower than corporate tax rates<<< Good info, thanks!

I can live with hedging....I like a steady dividend and being undervalued is good too! Maybe it is time to take an initial /small position in VTS. Even if they reduce the dividend a bit from where it currently is, I can live with that too!

Over the last three years I've been somewhat moving away from buying individual stocks and more into funds, IMO it helps de-risk my holdings a bit.....at the same time, if we are slowly approaching the low end of the energy/commodities cycle, IMO it should be ok pick some of the low hanging fruit....
