You are not going to lose 40% of CAIE principal in one day where magically all notes fall below 40%.
52 of the notes can't even be called because they haven't been held 1 year, and none are near the -40% line shown on the left side of the graph. 9 are eligible to be called because they are past the one year time frame. They show 2 that are being called (green dots).

None of the 61 notes are anywhere near the -40% barrier, when they start getting close that is when to be concerned. When the market starts going down that is when you'll see the notes approach -40%
CAIE is the sum of the notes and they are showing you the individual notes.

The Discount/Premium, Relative Values and maturity buttons add some granularity but I don't find them especially useful at this time.

I think you are over thinking it, if you don't understand the graph I don't think I can help you get there :^)

Maybe some others can chime in.
