FL_Guy,
Getting calls right and left. CGBDL, CUBI-F, EICB, WSBCP losing the yield and the income and finding it hard to find something to replace them with that have similar risk. You have to take less yield and go farther out on the call date hence increasing the risk but still what might be what I consider swan holdings.
The other option is just increasing the risk to get similar yield and income. When I start seeing more talk on other sites these days it seems to be more and more about going short term on higher risk holdings, I had no interest in the B &W or Cloud Care. because I don't want to be watching something every day. Same with CODI's and that TYG These are what I would consider flipping type stocks.
I'm seeing something strange these days but maybe it's just my imagination or the stocks I watch. Several stocks I watch the common shares have been catching air but their preferred have been losing. This is under par preferred. My sense of value tells me as the common gets more valuable so should the preferred, but what do I know.
