James, your strategy seems quite reasonable to me. I too anticipate adding global equities to portfolio via CEFs. I'm leaning towards Emerging Markets Infrastructure now vs. ETF for instance.

Have you seen any recent expanded CEF tables in any business pubs (ie, showing 52 week highest/lowest discounts to NAV), etc., aside from Sept 9 Forbes (will get hands on it soon). I want to update past research on historical NAV discounts. I know BW came out with this some months ago but I have misplaced that issue. TIA.

BTW, Jim Rogers (not Jim Jubak per earlier posts) writes the country-specific articles for Worth (though Jubak also writes for Worth). Excellent insights, IMO. Latest issue includes pro-Australia article - check it out.

Also, are you long any individual foreign stocks?
