Stocks that DO NOT fill the gap prove to be especially strong in the near term - because on news like this people do not wait for the gap to be filled before accumulating. Gaps on news often do NOT get filled - take a look at DELL, AOL, and LU recently. I wish I had bought those even after the gap up. If you can make gains like that in the near term...why the heck wait for the gap to be filled???
