Season 28(!) of "Silent Witness" has been a solid outing. The new boss and office tech were well cast and given well-written roles. The action hasn't veered off into melodrama as much as before.

We bank two episodes and watch them together to avoid that, "What happened last week?" problem.

Two more to come this season.
