Apparently, the 8 memory channel servers (where Intel is cancelling the 8 channel DMR) are between 70 and 80% of Intel volume. Huge opening for AMD with Venice, I am pretty sure that the CPU NVidia wants paired with VNidia GPUs is the 16 channel version. So Intel is under pressure to deliver for NVidia (after getting $5 billion) and may be neglecting its bread and butter business.
